    House Wood Destroying Insect Report for Buying/Selling Homes, and Refinancing

    If you are in the process of buying a home, odds are that your bank will require a wood destroying insect report in order to secure an FHA, VA and most conventional mortgages.

    In addition you may need a home inspection too. A WDI Report and a home inspection are not the same. Make sure you get your termite/wood destroying insect report from Swat Pest Control . We have been doing termite inspections almost as long as we’ve been in business… well over 25 years. And we know the difference between pests because we are CERTIFIED Pest Control Professionals only!

    There have been too many occasions where home inspectors have also done pest control inspections resulting in inaccurate reports, gross misjudgments and costly mistakes. Home inspectors take a “power” course in pest control; they never worked in the exterminating industry. If a valid treatment is needed, the home inspector can’t do the work, which stops the process of the sale.

    Demolition Inspection

    Most townships require a rodent inspection of a building that is to be torn down. The paperwork must be approved before any work starts.

    We usually treat for rats and mice along with the inspection. Currently, there is no certified rodent free certificate standardized government form. At Swat Total Pest Control , we have always given a service agreement with the date inspected and treated for rats and mice along with the brand name and quantity of materials used. This satisfies most reasonable township officials.

    If needed, we can fill out any forms supplied by the township.
